    Very good

It was handy for the citycentre

    Superb

It's an amazing accommodation. Everything in the room was perfect, lovely furnitures and very clean as well. It's 15 minutes walking from the city centre, so it turns to have very good access to all the city's facilities. We absolutely would come back, it has a very good relation price/service.

    Very good

There was a nice bed, it was very convenient and the included breakfast in the price

The room and bathroom could have done with a bit of a makeover, and a lick of paint.

Jackson Court Hotel doubles up as a nightclub Copperfield Jacks, which is situated in the basement and ground Floors. On both nights we could hear music pumping until at least 4 oclock in the morning, then as our room was situated at the front of the Hotel we were subject to the racket of revellers trying to get home. shouting, singing, swearing and taxis blaring their horns oh and someone setting of the fire alarm for fun!!!

    Superb

Central location and got a free room upgrade

A bit noisy with the nightclub but that waswell highlighted in advance

  • 9.6
    Exceptional

The room was clean, neat and warm. It also had tea and coffee available.

Downstairs the Hotel becomes the "Copper-Faced Jack" nightclub at night. This is quite noisy - it is great if you fancy throwing a few shapes on the floor of the club (guests get free entry), but not so great if you want to sleep. The Hotel does provide disposable earplugs for its guests.

    Superb

The location and free entry into the night club.

Checkout could possibly be made for 12pm instead of 11am.

    Location

Staying on the first floor was noisy during the night as the hotel reception turned into a niteclub and went on until past 4am. If we were an elderly couple it would have been unbearable. Not happy having paid £80 a night and then was expected to pay for 1) basic tv channels 2) Access to the internet The hot water took a while to warm up before you could have a shower and also you have to turn the shower towards the cold water side for it to become hot The breakfast was described as a full Irish (2 Bacon, 2 small sausages, 1 fired egg and a scoop of beans). Being born and bred in Ireland I can safely say that is not a full Irish.

    Fabulous

Breakfast and dining/kitchen staff were excellent

Awful noise no remote for the television. Night receptionist awfully rude

English breakfast was good. We had a Superior room, facilities ok.

No Internet available for Guests (or even password), which was awkard for us as this was a business trip. Hotel not ideal for mature couples, wanting a good nights sleep! Only good for young couples/hen/stag parties groups, as there is a big nightclub underneath with beer garden at the back. The music is very loud/boom boom boom. The receptionist - mixed our booking up and gave us at first a very small room with a double bed squashed against the wall, on the 3rd floor! we had paid £135 for a superior room! finally it got sorted, but not a great start.

It was clean on arrival (dreadful smell next morning from nightclub in hotel) and a handy location for the purpose of my visit. Breakfast was ok, basic and unfriendly staff as you come to expect in this hotel. I must say however, there was a male member of staff at reception on our arrival who was helpful and friendly enough.

The staff were rude, they clearly lacked any concept of customer service. I had so many issues with the staff at this hotel I honestly do not know where to start, unhelpful and almost cheeky. The beds were a disgrace, we sunk into huge dips in the beds, these mattresses were old old old!! please do not stay there, i think when you are paying for a hotel the least you can expect is a good quality mattress, you do not even get this at Jackson Court, embarassing for them! I would have refused to stay in this hotel except this was a busy weekend in Dublin when hotels had inflated their prices due to high demand. Paid for the family room for 1 night b&b, they do not deserve half of the rate. I begrudge them every cent and guarantee i would never cross their door again nor recommend them under any circumstances.

The location of the hotel was excellent.

Was worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The adjoining night club goes on until 6 in the morning. smoke from night club comes in through air vents in room and where the glass has slipped in the window frames! Believe me after climbing 6 flights of stairs you just want to sit down. Superior rooms provide a toilet roll holder hanging off the wall but on a plus side after searching for hair dryer, that didnt exist, I found ear plugs!!!!

The Jackson court hotel was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. It is an over priced hostel, but some hostels i have stayed in where a lot nicer & cleaner. The main reception turned into part of the niteclub. The room was very small & cramped. The extractor fan in the bathroom did not work so the bathroom was always steamed up & very hot as the bathroom was tiny. There was mildew in the shower & dampness around the window frame of the window. The staff serving the breakfast were not at all friendly or pleasent. The hotel was noisey but i expected that but what I dident expect was an aggressive security guy to bang on my door at 4 a.m to see how many people were in the room!!! Horrible horrible place!!!
